Our Commercial Property Team advises a broad range of clients, both in Monmouthshire and nationally, and provides a complete package of legal services to assist clients to develop, finance, occupy, invest in or dispose of land or buildings.
If you are involved in purchasing, selling or leasing commercial property, either as an owner, occupier, investor or developer, you must make sure that you are properly advised. Through building a close individual working relationship with our clients, each member of the Commercial Property unit aims to understand their business and their ambitions.
We aim to provide balanced, clear commercial advice, and a personal service. We are used to advising a broad range of clients, including those from the investment sector, and developers (of commercial, residential and mixed use buildings). We are used to acting for clients buying and selling commercial units, retail units, office accommodation, development land, trading/industrial estates and agricultural land. We act for landlords and tenants in the granting or taking of leases, the assignment of leases, agreements to lease, licences and variations. We deal with transactions for multi-national firms, SME’s and sole traders/investors.

We aim to take a practical and commercial approach, aimed at helping you to complete your property deals quickly with confidence and value for money. We enjoy working closely with others, and also utilise the expertise in other departments within the firm, particularly with regard to tax or licensing advice. We are well used to dealing with mortgagees representatives and in-house lawyers. Our property team work closely with our company and commercial experts with regard to property aspects of acquisitions and other commercial matters.
